PCB repairs with wrapping wire

Wire wrapping wire was, and perhaps still is, used as a quick and reliable means of interconnecting electronic components, as it can be seen in the left image below.

However, due to the quality of its insulation and non-corrosive nature, technicians and engineers also find this wire ideally suited to repair or modify PC Boards.
